How To Add Your Mission Statement In Drupal

October 6, 2009 by D. A. Shaver

I received a question about how to add your mission statement in Drupal. Drupal has a standard place for a mission statement at the top of the home page right below the title. This area is usually set off from the rest of the theme in some way. You can change or add text in this area by going to Administer → Themes → choose the active themes (assuming you have only one active) read down until you come to mission statement and check it, if is not checked already. Then go back to Administer → Site configuration → Site information and find Mission and fill in the text area right below it. It should now appear on your home page.

I will happy to answer questions about Drupal or web development. You may leave them below or on the contact form at http://www.dashaver.com/contact

Solve this simple math problem and enter the result. E.g. for 1+3, enter 4.
